2. Information we collect

When you contact us by form, email or phone, we may collect your name, company name, telephone number, email address, job type, site or address details, and the information you give us about the work.

Our website and the services needed to run it may also process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type and security logs. We use this to keep the site working and secure.

3. Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, assess access requirements, prepare and manage a quote, arrange work where you appoint us, and keep appropriate business and security records.

For enquiries and quotes, we normally rely on our legitimate interests in running and growing our business and responding to work you have asked us about. Where it is needed to take steps towards a contract or to perform a contract with you, we rely on that basis instead. We may also use information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

We will not add you to marketing lists just because you have made an enquiry.

4. Who receives your information

Online form details are sent to st@accessscaffolding.uk. We use service providers that host this website, operate the contact-form and transactional-email service, and support our business systems. They process information only as needed to provide those services to us.

We may also share information with professional advisers, insurers, regulators or public authorities where there is a legal or genuine business reason to do so. We do not sell personal information.

If a supplier processes information outside the UK, we will use the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quotation information for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless we need it for a live quote, a booking, a dispute, or a legal or accounting requirement. If you appoint us, we keep relevant contract, job and financial records for the period required by law and our normal record-keeping needs.

6. Cookies and website services

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses services needed to deliver and protect the site. We also use Google Fonts; when your browser downloads these font files, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address.

If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your personal information. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. To use any of these rights, email st@accessscaffolding.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your information. You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, with the update date shown at the top.
